Westminster Presbyterian

Wood Window & Door Restoration & Replication

Historical Background

The Westminster Presbyterian Church located at 902 N Superior was founded in 1870 when the 41 parish members commissioned the construction of the Church. Construction was completed in 1873 and is an example of High-Victorian Gothic style. It features two brick towers and a large central gable with oculi in the peak. The nave is well lit by massive windows allowing natural lighting to immerse the interior spaces. In 1909 the building was acquired by St. John’s Catholic College, it was used to support the Catholic Youth Organizations activities in the Toledo area.
